CAIRO - 27 October 2020: As part of the activities of the CineGouna Bridge, Egyptian DOP Ahmad Al Morsy will give a masterclass titled “Choosing How to Tell a Story Visually and Having the Flexibility to Adapt to Changing Conditions” on October 27, 2020.
 
This marks the only masterclass mentored by an Arab filmmaker at the CineGouna Bridge, which will be held during the 4th edition of El Gouna Film Festival (GFF).
              Ahmad Al Morsy is a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) and the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC). Throughout his career, Al Morsy won 20 awards for his work, including Messages From The Sea (2010), The Party (2013), The Blue Elephant (2014), The Originals (2017), and Diamond Dust (2018). His latest film is Blue Elephant: Dark Whispers, which made more than EGP 102 million in the Egyptian box office, becoming the highest-grossing film in the history of Egyptian cinema. Al Morsy is expecting the release of his film Al Aref: Awdat Younis by director Ahmad Alaa Aldeeb and starring Ahmed Ezz soon. Furthermore, he is currently shooting Marwan Hamed’s upcoming film Kira & El Gen that marks their fifth collaboration.
