CAIRO - 25 October 2020: In a world that is abruptly changing by technology with undeniable impact on all business industries, and emerging from a shared vision in playing an integral role to foster young rising talents and entrepreneurs, engineer Adly Thoma, Executive Chairman & CEO - Gemini Africa (GA), part of Orascom group, and Ms. Cherine Magora, Head of Strategic Partnerships - TikTok Middle East and Africa, signed an agreement together to merge technological advancement with creative entrepreneurship and add a new dimension to the filmmaking industry.

Upon this agreement, Gemini Africa will become the entrepreneurial arm for TikTok, while TikTok will provide Gemini community with great exposure and the highest engagements.
 
This is in addition to cross local and regional events/activities.
 
The partnership extends within Africa and the Middle East with special focus on Egypt

The agreement was signed in the presence of engineer Naguib Sawiris, Chairman of Orascom Investments & Gemini Holding during El Gouna Film Festival Fourth Edition.
