Shereen Reda: ‘ I am the daughter of a man who truly respected dancing’

CAIRO - 24 October 2020:The fourth edition of El Gouna Film Festival honored late veteran cheoreoghrapher Mahmoud Reda.

“ I was the only girl in the Middle East that her father wants her to be a dancer and she failed to fulfil his dream” said famed Egyptian actress Shereen Reda, the daughter of Mahmoud Reda.

Shereen Reda added that  she was the daughter of a man who truly respected dancing.

Shereen Reda said :” My father was a great man who had a dream to take Egyptian folklore dancing to the next level.”

Shereen Reda added: “ I am so proud that I am the daughter of the great Mahmoud Reda.
