UAE issues 1st cultural visa in the world

CAIRO – 19 October 2020: Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, approved Monday a new system for granting the first cultural visa in the world.

 

The initiative targets talented and creative people of culture and arts, writers, poets, painters, artists, calligraphers and actors. The service allows obtaining a certificate of accreditation for the creative and talented to issue a long-term visa for a period of 10 years.

 

According to the following conditions, the service request is submitted via info@dubaiculture.ae attached with the following documents: a passport copy attached to the residency page, a copy of the Emirates ID, and the candidate’s cultural CV.
