Egypt’s star Sayed Badreya’s movie ‘Vanguard’ alongside Jackie Chan to be released September 30

CAIRO - 4 September 2020: Famed Egyptian/American actor Sayed Badreya finished shooting his role in ‘’Vanguard’’ movie alongside the megastar Jackie Chan. 

The movie will be released on September 30.

Badreya previously announced that ‘’Vanguard’’ will be the most massive production global movie in the whole world. ‘’ We have already shot some scenes in a number of countries such as Dubai, London and China and India’’ Badreya added. 

‘’Vanguard’’ tackles terrorism and ways to get rid of this dangerous phenomena in the whole world. 

Badreya portrays the role of an Arab guy who aids Chan to combat terrorism, by arresting terrorists and their head, through a security company named Vanguard. 

Badreya released his short movie ‘’El Masry Haya’’ ( The Egyptian..Life) on January 2019. 

Miko Saeed who is an Egyptian filmmaker living in US participated with Badreya in making this movie. 

Badreya will participate in a number of international festivals with ‘’El Masry Haya’’. 

The short movie tackled the experience of an Egyptian immigrant who travelled to the United States and managed to achieve success in Hollywood. 

Badreya took part in the American series “Outlier”, as he performed the role of Dr. Scarab, a chemist who manages to save humanity from a fatal disease. 

Badreya said that the new character he is playing holds numerous surprises for the audience. 

In the meantime, Badreya is filming the second part of the series “Apple and Onion” that boasts a high viewership in America. 

Badreya is an Egyptian American actor. He was born in 1957 in Port Said, Egypt. 

Badreya participated in many roles in movies and series; he appeared in “American East”, “Iron Man”, “Cargo”, and “The Dictator”. 

Badreya also provided motion capture and voice work for Pirate Ramses in "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception". 

He previously won the Best Actor award from the 13th edition of ‘Action on Film Festival’ in Las Vegas for his role in the American movie ‘Aileron.’ 

Badreya has had only one dream since he was young; to travel to Hollywood and work in the cinema there. 

He fulfilled his dream by performing roles in great Hollywood films like ‘The Insider,’ ‘Three Kings,’ and ‘Independence Day.’ 

Before heading to Hollywood, Badreya studied acting in New York University Film School.
