CAIRO – 18 August 2020: Egyptian archaeologist Zahi Hawass said that evidence that the Great Pyramids of Giza were built has been fully discovered. Hawass also stated that he wrote a book in numerous languages on how the stones were transported and what construction mechanism was implemented.

“During the quarantine period of COVID-19, I wrote five parts of the “Encyclopedia of Building the Pyramids”, which consists of eight parts, and will be issued next October," Said Hawass.

Hawass added, during his intellectual meeting with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, that all the stones of the Giza Pyramids were transferred from a location 300 meters from the pyramids, specifically from the Pyramids Plateau.

He added that the limey outer clothing was being transported from Aswan, pointing out that the rumors about a city below the pyramids is incorrect, and that the cities that were discovered were around, not under, the Great Pyramids, such as the laborers’ graves, noting that the Giza Pyramids still have many secrets.

The acclaimed archaeologist confirmed that all matters related to the science of mummification have already been revealed.

In the same context, Hawass pointed out that the statue of Nefertiti was stolen by German scholars.

“We wish all the important stolen artifacts will be returned, because we have built the most important cultural building in the 21st century, which is the Grand Egyptian Museum,” said Hawass, pointing out that the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities “caused havoc” to get  our stolen antiquities back.

Hawass concluded that the talks about cemetery guards, and the presence of jinn inside Pharaonic tombs, are the words of “ignorant people” and that such things do not exist.
