Michael Bolton performing in Lebanon's summer festival

CAIRO - 27 June 2017: The Grammy award-winning singer Michael Bolton is performing in Jounieh Summer Festival 2017 in Lebanon Tuesday.

The festival celebrated its opening with more than 50 thousand fireworks on June 24. It is one of the major summer attractions in Lebanon hosting internationally and regionally renowned entertainers like Tinie Tempa and Assi El Hallani.

Michael Bolton is known for his pop rock ballads and sold more than 75 million albums. He also released two number one singles on the billboard charts along with eight top 10 albums.

In his early career, like many solo artists, Bolton was part of a band called Blackjack that focused on hard rock. He later began his solo career in the 1980s with his first album crawling its way to the Top 100 chart.

"That's What Love is All About", and "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" cover were his first Top 40 hit but his hit single "Soul Provider" was what took off his career.
