Yassin formed a strong artistic bond with his friend Abul-Saud el-Ebyari, the result of which was a group of 18 successful films bearing his name.

The film "Ismail Yassin in the Army" revolves around Zaki (Ismail Yassin), the poor young man who is called upon to join the army. He finds it difficult to obey army orders and from here a lot of funny situations arise. He fell in love with Samira. However Al-Shaweesh Attia (Riyad al-Qasbagi) tries to win her heart, which makes it more difficult for Zaki to marry her.
