Egyptian Film 'Kira wel Gen' cast resumes shooting

CAIRO - 21 July 2020: Egyptian Film “Kira wel Gen” announced that shooting was resumed. The film is produced by Egyptian leading production company Synergy Films.

"Kira wel Gen" is based on the novel “1919” by Ahmed Mourad. The movie incidents take place in 1919, shedding the light on this part of Egypt’s history and how the people fought the British occupation. 

“ Kira wel Gen” will narrate true patriotic stories of the Egyptian heroes at that time.

The movie cast, led by famed director Marwan Hamed, had shot some scenes before the coronavirus outbreak.

The long awaited Egyptian movie will witness for the first time the cooperation of the two giant stars KarimAbdel Aziz, who plays Kira, and Ahmed Ezz, who plays the role of Gen. Egyptian- Tunisian Star Hend Sabryportrays Dawlat Fahmy, the female leading role.

The movie houses a notable group of stars such as SayedRagab, Ahmed Malek, Ali Qassem, Hoda al-Mufti, Mohamad Abdel-Azim, Arfa Abdel-Rasoul, Tamer Nabil, with several other guest of honors and foreign actors.
