Central Upper Egypt Cultural Region to launch competition for people with special needs

CAIRO – 19 July 2020: The Central Upper Egypt Cultural Region, affiliated with the General Authority of Culture Palaces, has announced the start of the third cultural competition for people with needs.

 

The participants will compete in the fields of vernacular poetry recitation, short story, drawing, singing and playing, music, lyrical performance, kinetic performance, acting, folklore and artwork.  

 

The competition will take place at the cultural branches of the region, namely in El-Minya, Assiut, Sohag and New Valley Governorates, and the participating artworks will be presented in various cultural sites, libraries, and public administrations in the aforementioned branches.

 

After receiving and judging works, a ceremony will be held within the celebrations of the July 23 Revolution in August 2020, and winners will be granted prizes and certificates of appreciation.
