CAIRO – 9 July 2020: Egypt’s Min. of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem followed up the gradual resumption plan for the return of activities and events at the various cultural sites and establishments.

Abdel Dayem inspected the sales outlet of the National Center for Translation headed by Ola Adel and also inspected the final preparations for operating the external theater at El-Hanager Center for Arts; affiliated to the Cultural Production Sector headed by Khaled Galal.

Moreover, Abdel Dayem said that the resumption of the “enlightenment march” reflects the nation's ability to face challenges and praised the demand on the publications of the National Center for Translation.

The resumption study showed that the sales system implemented in outlets selling its publications in the various governorates is made to reach the largest segment of the public with the expansion of the sales process through the Internet, confirming that discounts of up to 70 percent would be granted on the publications offered for sale.

Abdel Dayem also inspected the final preparations for operating the external theater at  El-Hanager Center for Arts, as it was included in the program of re-operating the open theaters through which the Ministry of Culture decided to resume activities.

The theater will host a range of theatrical and artistic performances for both the Artistic House of Theater and the Artistic House of Folk and Performing Arts.
