Egypt’s Opera resumes activities with concert at Fountain Theater on July 9

CAIRO – 8 July 2020: The Egyptian Opera House, headed by Magdy Saber, will start its artistic activity with a Tarab evening, which will be held on July 9 at 8 p.m. at the External Fountain Theater.

The concert will be performed by various opera stars, including Mai Farouk, Ahmed Effat, Sabreen al-Nujaily, Yasser Suleiman, and for the first time clarinet player Mohamed Fawzy, all accompanied by the music band led by Mustafa Helmy.

Sayed Darwish Theater in Alexandria Opera will also hold a concert for the Alexandria Opera of Arab Music Ensemble led by Maestro Ehab Abdel Ghaffar on July 10 at 8 p.m. 

It is worth noting that the Egyptian Opera House announced the opening of the electronic reservations for the performances of July on its theaters in Cairo and Alexandria (Fountain Theater – Open Theater - Sayed Darwish Theater in Alexandria).
