CAIRO – 29 June 2020: Egypt’s Ministry of Culture will celebrate the anniversary of the June 30 revolution on its official YouTube channel. The celebration will be broadcast on the ministry’s official YouTube channel on June 30 at 9 p.m. and all the Opera House troupes will perform.

The concert’s first part will include the operetta “Horas Amanak” [Guarding Your Safety] written by Bahaa el-Din Mohammed, composed by Madien and lead by Mustafa Helmy.

Singers participating in the concert’s first chapter include Reham AbdelHakim, Mai Farouk, Rehab Motawea, Ahmed Effat, Walid Haider and Hany Amer.

Afterwards, the Cairo Opera Ballet Ensemble along with Pyramids Ballet Ensemble and Revolution Ensemble will perform a ballet show entitled "The Will of People" starring ballerina Sahar Helmy. The show expresses the will of the Egyptian people in the June 30 Revolution.

In addition, Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem will then perform a musical piece entitled "Heroes", composed by Gamal Salama, dedicating it to the Egyptians and the heroes of the army and police.

The celebration is concluded with a panorama of national songs, including a group of the most important national works presented during the past century.

This is with the participation of Abdel Halim Nowera band for Arab music and the Opera Choir led by the Maestro Salah Ghobashi, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, and the Cairo Opera Choir.
