CAIRO – 21 June 2020: The activities of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti electronic exhibition, which was held under the title “Ma’an” [Together] started Sunday.

The exhibition includes many artworks depicting the Egyptian and Kuwaiti environments created by artists from both countries.

In his speech during the opening, Egypt’s Ambassador to Kuwait Tariq el-Qouni said that the establishment of the "Ma'an" exhibition, with the participation of a group of Egyptian and Kuwaiti artists, reflects the depth of the historical ties between the two brotherly countries.

Qouni thanked the Kuwaiti National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature for the fruitful cooperation that resulted in the launch of this distinguished exhibition, explaining that the exhibition includes a variety of artworks, in which 37 Kuwaiti artists and 20 Egyptian artists participated.

The exhibition was launches as a virtual event, so that art would be closer to the audience at the time of the COVID-19 epidemic.

It is worth noting that the "Ma’an” art exhibition is held annually in coordination with the Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature of Kuwait.
