CAIRO - 13 June 2020: Famed Egyptian singer Amal Maher performed her first Unplugged, an acoustic concert which will take place at the Giza Pyramids on Friday, June 12.

The concert achieved booming success, Maher provided a dazzling performance and tops Twitter trend.

The Egyptian star concert was held without audience and live-streamed on MBC Masr channel in addition to parallel streaming on the social media.

Maher recently released a music video of the song Elly Qadra ( Who Can), the theme song of Leih La (Why Not) series starring Egyptian star Amina Khalil.

The music video has amassed millions of views on YouTube. Maher is one of the most popular Arab female voices.

She is famous with her melodious and powerful voice that enabled her to sing Umm Kalthoum's songs brilliantly.

The famed pan Arab singer's musical repertoire housed four albums which are Isa'lni Ana" (Ask Me) which was released in 2006, A'raf Mneen (How Could I Know? ) which was released 2011, Welad El-Neharda (Sons of Today) which was released 2015 and Asl El-Ehsas (The Origin of Feelings) which was released in 2019 in collaboration with Indian composer, singer and music producer A. R. Rahman.

Maher’s “Asl el-Ehsas” album consisted of 16 songs. In this album, Maher collaborated with the poets Tamer Hussein, Amir Teima, Khaled Tag el-Din, Nader Abdullah and Ayman Bahgat Kamar, in addition to the composers Amr Mostafa, Khaled Ezz, Tamer Ali, Tamer Ashour, Mohamed el-Nadi, Madien and Yasser Maged.

In 2020 Maher has released her successful romantic song, Matsebnish (Do Not Leave Me), celebrating Valentine's Day in February.

The music video of ''Matsebnish'' was shot in Paris and directed by Nihat Odabasi.

Also on February Maher uploaded her song “Enta Wahdak” on her official YouTube channel.

The song is written by Turki al-Sheikh and composed by Saudi singer and composer Rabeh Saqer.

Maher sang this song live for the first time on one of the major theaters in the Fifth Settlement on Valentine’s Day.

During the concert, Maher performed a wide selection of her most popular songs and got high appraisal from the attendees.
