CAIRO - 23 June 2017: The Egyptian Ministry of Culture is organizing a series of cultural and artistic events to commemorate the holy month of Ramadan starting Thursday.

The Egyptian Opera House will hold a concert for the Cairo Symphony Orchestra at the Grand Theatre at 9:30 pm, as well as a Ramadan concert by the Egyptian jazz musician: Yehya Khalil, at the open theater Thursday 9:30 p.m.

The Cultural Development Fund will also continue to hold the "Art of Our Country" exhibition exploring the various art traditions of the various governorates of Egypt, the exhibition of products of the “Fustat Center “ for Traditional Crafts, and the “Arabic calligraphy” exhibition at Prince Taz Palace, which was originally built in 1352.

Further, the Fine Arts Sector is organizing a "drawing on paper, wood arts”, in the General Directorate of the Heritage Research Center.

The Egyptian National Library and Archives will also hold a symposium on first aid at the May 15th General Library, in addition to a symposium entitled "Take Ramadan" at Helwan Public Library, at 10:00 a.m.
