National, religious evenings in Cairo Opera's Ramadan program

CAIRO - 27 April 2020: The Egyptian Opera House has prepared a set of distinguished artistic performances within the activities of the digital agenda of the Ministry of Culture for the holy month of Ramadan.

The ministry’s official YouTube channel will broadcast a religious evening for the Cairo Opera Orchestra, led by maestro Sherif Mohy el-Din, with Abdel Halim Nowera Arab Music Ensemble, led by maestro Salah Ghobashi.

The Cairo Opera will present musical compositions prepared by Gamal Salama and performed by Taghrid, Ajfan, Ayat Farouk, Howaida Salah, Soma, Reham Abdel Hakim, Mai Farouk, Mohsen Farouk and Abdullah Al-Ruwaished.

Also, an artistic celebration of the anniversary of the tenth of Ramadan's victories will be presented by Reham Abdel-Hakim, Mai Farouk, Samah Abbas with the children's choir. This is in addition to an evening with the renowned musician Omar Khairat.

Moreover, the sacred trilogy includes one of the most important works of Umm Kulthum, written by Saleh Gawdat, composed by Riyad Al-Sonbati, performed by the musical band led by Maestro Salah Ghobashi, with the participation of singers Amal Maher, Mai Farouk, Reham Abdel Hakim, Ayat Farouk, Walid Kamal, Mohamed Sultan and Omniah Samir.
