CAIRO - 17 March 2020: Egyptian star Ahmed el-Sakka will present a new program titled “Meen Yeghleb El-Sakka?” (Who can beat El-Sakka?) during Ramadan 2020.

Special sources confirmed to ET that the program revolves around hosting a different star every episode and speaking about their childhood memories and artistic careers.

The program is directed by Lebanese director Bassem Christo. Sakka is currently holding back additional information about the program and the channel that will air it.

The star is having trouble filming his program’s episodes in the Lebanese capital Beirut due to the Lebanese government's decision to prevent the entry of non-Lebanese citizens for the next two weeks as a precaution against the spread of the new coronavirus.

This puts the program makers at a tough situation, especially since the stars set to be hosted by the program will not be able to enter Lebanon at this time.

Sakka has already filmed a number of episodes with several stars, including Mohamed Henedy, Karim Abdel Aziz, Amir Karara, Dora and Fifi Abdo, and is scheduled to host Ahmed Helmy, Mona Zaki and Nelly Karim.

Furthermore, Sakka finished filming his role in the series “Nesaa Men Dahab” (Women of Gold), where he appears as a guest of honor. Direct by Wael Ihsan, the series stars Nadia el-Gendi and Nabila Ebeid and features Nancy Ajram, Haifa Wehbe, Ahmed Fahmy, Rogina, Hamdi el-Merghani, Shaima Saif, Bayoumi Fouad, Hanadi Muhanna and Mustafa Abu Saree as guests of honor.

During the last Ramadan season, Sakka starred in the series “Weld el-Ghalaba” written by Ayman Salama and directed by Mohammed Samy.

Sakka is currently filming the last scenes in his new film “El-Ankabout”, which is scheduled to be released in Eid el-Fitr. The film co-stars Mona Zaki, Dhafer al-Abidin, Yousra el-Lozi, Reem Mustafa, Zaki Fateen Abdul-Wahab, and Wizo, with a special appearance of Mohammed Mamdouh. The film is written by Mohammed Nair and directed by Ahmed Nader Galal.

“El-Ankabout” presents a thrilling storyline, a plot Sakka's films are commonly known for. The film includes dangerous action scenes performed by Sakka himself.
