CAIRO - 16 February 2020: Artist and former Minister of Culture Farouk Hosny will open his new art exhibition at the Arts Complex (Aisha Fahmy Palace) in Zamalek on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. The exhibition will run until March. 19.

Hosny uploaded a picture on his official Instagram account holding a paint brush and a set of colors, commenting: “Preparing for Feb. 2020 exhibition."

It can be said that Hosny's paintings are of great interest to art lovers as well as to scholars and researchers.

Hosny is one of the most distinguished contemporary plastic artists in Egypt and the Arab world. His works have been exhibited in international museums, including the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Carousel Louvre in Paris, Tokyo Museum of Art in Japan, Houston Museum of Art (USA), Fort Lauderdale Museum (USA), Vienna National Museum in Austria, Vittoriano Museum in Rome, in addition to significant art museums in the Arab world including Lebanon, UAE and Bahrain, besides numerous galleries and private halls around the world.
