CAIRO - 23 January 2020: The 51st Cairo International Book Fair will host an artistic symposium for super star Yousra on Jan. 27, where she will speak about the book fair and her previous and upcoming works.

The symposium will provide a direct dialogue between the star and the book fair’s visitors.

Yousra denied she had leukemia, commenting to the press that some individuals misunderstood a statement she previously made on one of the television shows.

“Good evening to all the sweet, kind people who asked about me and are concerned with my health condition. During my interview in the program “Alemetni el-Donia” I commented that I was wrongfully diagnosed with Leukemia 15 years ago. I am fine and all thanks to god I am well and I do not have any disease.” commented Yousra.

Yousra thanked her fans for their concern commenting that no matter what she says she will not be able to describe her gratitude and love to them.

It is noteworthy that the 51st Cairo International Book Fair is held with the participation of 40 countries. Senegal is the guest of honor of the fair’s 51st edition. Gamal Hemdan is the book fair’s main personality.

The number of pavilions at the fair is 808, with an increase of 86 pavilions. The number of publishers, as well as Egyptian and Foreign entities participating are 900, with an increase of 153 publishers and entities compared to the fair’s 50th edition.

Furthermore, the number of Egyptian publishers is 398 and the number of Egyptian publishers of children's books is 75.

Egyptian publishers of Islamic heritage books total up to 121 and the number of participating Azbakeya wall libraries is 41.
