CAIRO - 30 December 2019: Sherine Reda is one of the greatest supporters of animal rights in Egypt. The star called on officials to consider issuing a law enforcing animal rights.

“An appeal to the officials, please consider issuing the animal welfare law, locating them in a shelter, feeding them, and preventing their harm. Animal welfare is a very sensitive humanitarian concept. We must think about the creatures that cannot express their misery, pain, or hunger,” commented Reda on her official Twitter account.

In November, Reda launched a sharp attack on the Veterinary Medicine Authority, and later apologized to the authority. She said in her comment, “If describing you as Nazi Butchers hurts you, please do accept my apology, but?”

Reda’s last participation was in the movie “El-Deif” (The Guest) starring Khaled el-Sawy, Ahmed Malek and Gamila Awad. Maged el-Kedwany, Mohamed Mamdouh, and Mahmoud el-Laithy participated as guests of honor. The film is written by Ibrahim Issa.

The actress also participated as a guest of honor in ‘El-Fel el-Azra’” (Blue Elephant P II) starring Karim Abdel Aziz, Nelly Karim and Hend Sabry.
