Naseer Shamma performs in El-Sawy Culture Wheel on Dec. 28, 29

CAIRO - 16 December 2019: After a long hiatus, El-Sawy Culture Wheel will be hosting Iraqi musician and Oud master Naseer Shamma on Dec. 28 and 29 at 8 p.m.

Shamma is one of the most prominent Arab musicians who have emerged at the end of the 20th century, and were able to enter the 21st century with steady steps based on cumulative achievements and an individual musical identity.The Iraqi musician received many awards, and performed countless concerts around the world.He founded The House of Oud to teach oud, and Oyoun group for Arab Takht music in Cairo. It is worth mentioning that Shamma has recently performed at the closing ceremony of the second edition of the Manial Palace Festival, headed by El-Amir Abbas Helmy.
