CAIRO - 5 November 2019: The Golden Hall of Prince Mohamed Ali Palace in Manial hosted a music event that was held as part of the second edition of the Manial Palace Festival headed by El-Amir Abbas Helmy.

The Manial Palace Festival's second edition comes under the auspices of the European Union and the ministries of antiquities and culture. The event was attended by the Spanish ambassador and a number of diplomats and public figures. Rising Spanish pianist Martin Garcia presented a selection of the world's most famous classical compositions, while Japanese violinist Elisa Kwajuti was accompanied by a leading Belgian guitarist in a charming performance.

The ambassador of Spain in Cairo stated that the festival has become one of the most important cultural bridges connecting the people of the world. The Spanish ambassador further stated that the charm of the venue, and the power of music are the reasons behind the festival’s success, as music is not only a tool for entertainment, but a means to purify the soul, an improve the public taste.

General Coordinator of the festival Walid el-Daramaly stated that the festival reflects Egypt’s leadership in various fields, asserting that the festival is considered one of the most important cultural and artistic events sponsored by the European Union and the ministries of antiquities and culture.
