CAIRO - 4 November 2019: The events of the 28th Arabic Music Festival resumes, with Mohamed el Helw performing on Nov. 4 at the Grand Theater at 8 p.m..

The veteran singer will be accompanied by El-Hefny Ensemble led by Maestro Hisham Nabawi. Lebanese violinist Jihad Akl as well as singers Ayat Farouk and Moroccan Fouad Zabadi will perform ahead of Helw.

At the same time on the stage of the Arabic Music Institute, Iraqi Qanoun player Furat Kaddouri will present a musical performance, followed by singer Ibrahim Farouk and his band Angham el-Sharq that will offering a selection of the most important works of Arabic music.

Discussions of the accompanying scientific conference on the role of women's contributions to the Arab musical scene will be held at the Small Theater at 10 a.m.

The qualifying competition will also conclude with a prelude to the announcement of the winners who are expected to participate during the closing ceremony at the Grand Theater.
