CAIRO - 14 June 2017: President of the Egyptian Arts Academy in Rome Gehan Zaki overlooked potential cooperation with an Italian delegation from a Pontifical Institute of Religious Sciences, affiliated to Vatican, on Tuesday.

The delegation comprised of 45 students and their professor who is known for teaching Quran and Islamic Studies in Italian.

A seminar about Egyptian civilization was conducted during the visit through a display of Tutankhamun , Egyptian fine arts and cinema, according to the Ministry’s statement.

Both Zaki and head of the Italian Institution Delegation Nivola Lombardy discussed potential plans to carry out workshops. The workshops will bring together young people of different backgrounds, who could learn about shared values and human manners among different religions.

The Pontifical Institute of Religious Sciences is specialized in religious teachings and seeks to compare and analyze different attitudes in efforts to promote acceptance and forgiveness.
