Opera House to launch 'For the Love of Opera' to celebrate 31st anniversary

CAIRO - 2 October 2019: As part of the celebrations of the 31st anniversary of the Egyptian Opera House, Magdy Saber will inaugurate a group exhibition entitled “For the Love of Opera” for a number of Egyptian, Arab and foreign plastic artists.

“For the Love of Opera” will be held at Salah Taher and Ziad Bakir halls starting from Thursday, October 3 at 7 p.m. to Friday, October 11.

The exhibition will feature more than 100 works from different trends and schools of plastic art. Also, the exhibition will be accompanied by a symposium entitled "Art of Life" set to be held at Salah Taher Hall on Tuesday, October 8 at 6 p.m.

During the symposium, journalist and art critic Kariman Harak will host psychiatrist and consultant Ahmed Abdullah, and artist Taha Al-Qarni, accompanied by oud performance by Hani Jizawi.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition will host alongside the Egyptian artists, artists from Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Algeria, Syria, Yemen, Tunisia, and Palestine.
