CAIRO - 29 September 2019: The Egyptian Opera House, headed by Magdy Saber, is scheduled to celebrate on Oct. 6 the 46th anniversary of the October victory at the Grand Theater at 8 p.m.

The celebration program includes a distinct variety of the most famous national musicals, which formed part of the conscience of the Egyptian people throughout the years. The songs include “Homat al-Watan”, “Khale el-Selah Sahy”, “Helwa Belady el-Samra”, “Aash eli Qal”, “Ya Aghla Esm”, “Masr Om el-Donia”, among others.

The songs will be performed by Walid Haidar, May Jubaili, Essam Mahmoud, Ahmed Effat, Rehab Motawea, Amira Ahmed, Marwa Hamdy, and Hasna. The Egyptian Opera House also organizes a series of monthly concerts under the title "Kulthumiat", in honor of “Planet of the East” Umm Kulthum, as part of its plan to revive the heritage of Arab music and spread it among the new generations, as it is an authentic part of Egypt's cultural history and the bridge between the past, present and future.
