CAIRO - 19 September 2019: The Cairo International Festival for Contemporary and Experimental Theater (26), concludes its activities on Sept. 19 at the Grand Theater of the Opera House at 8 pm.

The play “Domoo’ Hadid” for Walid Awni will be presented during the festival’s closing ceremony, in the presence of the festival’s President Sameh Mehran, General Coordinator Director Essam el Sayed, the Festival's Director Dina Amin, Poet Mohamed Bahgat Head of the Media Committee and a constellation of stars of art and theater in Egypt and the world.

The program of the ceremony includes the national anthem followed by Sameh Mahran's speech.

The festival’s medal will be awarded to honor Sayed Ragab, Samira Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Kamal and the writer Abdel Razek Hussein.

The festival will also honor a group of late creators who have a long history of artistic contributions including Hazem Shehata, Hanaa Abdel Fattah and Mohamed Abul Seoud.
