CAIRO - 29 August 2019: The film “Hathehe Lailati” for Youssef Nouman will compete in the short film competition at El Gouna Film Festival running from Sept. 19 to 27.

The film received the Financial Support Award from the Click Funding Foundation to support short film projects. The grant is supported by the European Union (UNICEF) and is the second directorial work of Nouman.

The story of the film revolves around a woman who accompanies her child with special needs to buy ice cream and enjoy sometime in one of Cairo's upscale neighborhoods. The lady then faces something that was not expected.

“HatheheLailati” is starring Nahed el-Sebai, Sherif el-Desouky and the child Amr Hossam.
