Mostafa Khater honored in Hamsa Festival's 7th edition

CAIRO - 25 July 2019: The management of Hamsa International Festival of Arts and Literature announced the honoring of Mostafa Khater as the best actor for his role in the series "Talqet Haz".

This comes as part of the honorings set to take place in the festival’s seventh edition after the convention of the festival's special committee, including prominent actress Madline Tabar - honorary president of the festival-, director Adel Awad - chairman of the jury, critic Sayed Ibrahim Salam, media personality Samir Fakih, Mervat Omar, Festival Director Amr Fathi el-Hosary and Maryam Fathi el-Hosary.

It is worth mentioning that the festival's seventh edition carries the name of the iconic artist Mahmoud Yassin. It will be held on Sept. 4 at the Grand Theater at the Egyptian Opera House.

The festival, first organized by the Egyptian magazine, HAMSA, in 2016, includes competitions in all kinds of poetry, short story, long story, script, monologue, painting and photography.
