Restoration work at Magra El-Eyoon project kicks off - Ministry

CAIRO - 4 July 4 2019: The Ministry of Antiquities started Thursday working at restoration project of the large wall of Magra El-Eyoon and its surrounding area.

In a statement, Head of the Islamic and Coptic antiquities department at the ministry Gamal Moustafa said that maintenance work was carried out by technical teams belonging to the institute of the archaeological crafts which is affiliated to the ministry.

Encroachments on the large wall of Magra El-Eyoon and its surrounding area have been removed and work is underway to remove the remaining violations in coordination with all bodies concerned, Moustafa added.
