Yusuf el Sherif to participate in 2020 Ramadan marathon

CAIRO – 6 May 2019: Famed Egyptian actor Yusuf el Sherif revealed the reasons behind his absence in the 2019 Ramadan marathon.

“I did not find a well-written script. I do not want to participate in a series for the sake of mere participation in Ramadan. I want to convey a message for my audience and this is my ultimate goal,” Sherif said.

Sherif is preparing for a huge series for Ramadan 2020 and it is set to be produced by Synergy Production Company.

“It needs a really high budget because we are going to shoot in several European countries and use advanced techniques, set to be used for the first time in the Egyptian drama,” Sherif further elaborated.

Sherif promised his fans to do his best to present a well prepared series, revealing that he will start shooting the series in October as the script and the preparations took a very long time to be completed.

It is worth mentioning that Sherif’s latest works was “Kafr Delhab” which achieved unprecedented success. In “Kafr Delhab”, Sherif played the leading role and Mohamed Reyad, Rojina, Ahmed Ghani, and Sahar el Sayegh costarred. “Kafr Delhab” was written by Amr Samir Atef, directed by Ahmed Nader Galal and produced by Synergy.
