CAIRO - 17 April 2019: Massar Egbari band in cooperation with famed singer Ahmed Sheba released a new song entitled “Enzel we Sharek” (Go out and participate), which invites citizens to participate in the referendum on the constitutional amendments.

The song was released under the slogan "For our country and for the next generations, go out and participate."

The National Electoral Commission, headed by Lashin Ibrahim, is scheduled to hold a press conference on April 17 at 3 p.m. at the headquarters of the State Information Service in Nasr City to invite citizens to the referendum on the constitutional amendments and to set a timetable for voting locally and abroad.

Massar Egbari is an Egyptian rock band founded in Alexandria in 2005. The band released their third album "Mosawamat" (Bargains) last July which brought them back to the music scene three years after releasing their album "Toqa’a w Tqom" (Fall & Rise).

The band was awarded the title of Young Artist for Intercultural Dialogue between the Arab and Western worlds. The UNESCO honored Massar Egbari in 2011 in Paris.
