CAIRO - 24 February 2019: Cairo Opera House's stars returned to Egypt after performing a concert at the Orator de Louvre Theater in Paris as part of the events of the Egyptian-French cultural year of 2019.

The Egyptian-French cultural year is held under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah al-sisi and includes various interactive cultural activities reflecting cultural and artistic aspects in both societies. The ceremony was attended by Egyptian Ambassador to France Ehab Badawi, the mayor of Paris, Cultural Counselor of the Egyptian Embassy in Paris Nevin Khaled and a number of French public figures as well as several members of the Arab community in France.

A number of Neapolitan songs and selections of classical operas were performed by Eman Mustafa, Jolie Fitzi, Amr Medhat, Reda el-Wakil, and Mostafa Mohamed, accompanied by pianist Greg Martin. The performances were praised by the audience and reflected the pride of the Egyptian performers of their native culture.
