CAIRO - 31 January 2019: The Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly congratulated Ministry of Culture on the massive success of Cairo International Book Fair in its Golden Jubilee.

Adding, Book Fair is shown as an international cultural ceremony and a good chance to prove the significance of the Soft power in Egypt.

Moreover, this important ceremony is going to be the beginning of other activities and cultural events after Egypt’s chair the African Union 2019 for the second time respectively.

Needless to say, Cairo International Book Fair witnessed over a million visitors at its first few days.

A set of writers and public figures will be on the honor of the Book Fair including the famed writer Ahmed Mourad who announced, on his official page on Facebook, his arrival to the exhibition on January 31 at 5 PM in a Book Signing to all his novels.

The Golden Jubilee of the Cairo International Book Fair will be held on Jan. 23, 2019, the Cairo International Book Fair’s official Facebook page declared on Wednesday.

The Golden Jubilee of Cairo International Book Fair, set to be held in Ard el-Maared, Nasr City, in 2019, has chosen the Arab League as the guest of honor of the book fair.

Also, great writer and ex-Minister of Culture, Tharwat Okasha, and late great writer Soheir al-Kalamawi are set to be figures of the year in the 50th edition of the book fair.
