CAIRO – 22 January 2019: Numerous cultural and artistic events were held Jan. 21 in various sectors and departments affiliated with the Ministry of Culture.

Head of the Supreme Council of Culture Shaker Abdel Hamid held a seminar entitled "Childhood: The Future of civilization”, with the participation of veteran journalist Sakineh Fouad.

In addition, the literary narration section of Egypt’s Writer Union held a cultural evening to discuss the novel "Exile and the Kingdom" by novelist Bahij Ismail, at 6 p.m.

Furthermore, the Workshop Olive Library hosted Egyptian journalist and novelist Mounir Mutawa at 7 p.m. to discuss the novel "I am not Hany el-Halawany", published recently by the General Egyptian Book Authority.
