Several artistic, cultural events to take place on Dec. 26

CAIRO – 26 December 2018: Several artistic and cultural events are set to be held on Dec. 26. Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem will inaugurate the "Children's Forum of Egyptian Cinema".

The forum is organized by the Children of Egyptian Artists for Culture and Arts under the chairmanship Madi Tawfiq Al-Daqn.

In addition, Amir Taz Palace Creativity Center in Al-Khalifah District will host a celebration in the memory of late musician Farid Al-Atrash, held by the Association of Farid Al-Atrash Music Lovers at 7 p.m.

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina will host a discussion session of the book "Unlearned Beauty". Translated from Italian to Arabic, the book is the latest publication of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

The Cairo Opera House will host a poetic and musical event at 7 p.m. in the Small Theater. The event will be attended by veteran poet Ahmed Sweilem, musician Hany Nadim, critic Azzouz Ismail, Saudi artist Ali al-Arifi, and is managed by fine artist Amin al-Serafi.

Furthermore, Sayed Darwish Theater in Alexandria Opera House will host an event titled "Alexandrian Memory of Arts", which will be attended by veteran writer Ibrahim Abdul Majid and artist Mohamed Hosni.
