CAIRO – 2 December 2018: Carthage Theatre Days Festival (CTDF) will honor in its 20th round eight significant names who effectively contributed to the Arab and African theater through their enriching works and performances.

The honorees include Mouna Noureddine from Tunisia, Abdel Aziz Meherzi from Tunisia, Syrian veteran actor Assaad Feddah, Moroccan playwright Hassan el-Miniai, Algerian actor Sid Ahmed Agoumi, Nigerian playwright Wole Soyinka, Iraqi artist Sami Abdel Hamid and last but not least veteran actor Abdel Rahman Abou Zahra from Egypt.

Carthage Theatre Days' 20th round will run from Dec. 8 - 16, 2018. Director Nasser Abdel Moniem's play “El Sa’a el-akheera” (Last hour) will represent Egypt in the festival’s official contest.

The Carthage Theater Days is a theatre festival hosted by the government of Tunisia; it launched in 1983.Taking place every two years, this theatre festival alternates with the Carthage Film Festival.
