LIVE: CIFF closing ceremony kicks off

CAIRO - 29 November 2018: The closing ceremony of the 40th edition of Cairo International Film Festival kicked off a few minutes ago at Cairo Opera House.

The closing ceremony started with a short speech by the famed Egyptian actor Mahmoud Hemeida.

'' Cinema is the vivid memory of imagination that is important for all the human beings'' Hemeida recounted. Hemeida praised the role played by CIFF head Mohamed Hefzy announcing that all the Egyptian filmmakers wished long ago to have a young head to the festival, as youth like Hefzy has a youthful vision.
