CAIRO – 30 November 2018: Carthage Theatrical Days Festival is set to take place from Dec. 8-16. The festival will celebrate its 35th anniversary in the upcoming edition.

"El-sa'aa el-akheera" (The last hour) play directed by Nasser Abdel Moneim will represent Egypt in Tunisia. The play is the production of Al-Ghad Theatre that has been launched in April, 2018.

The play revolves around the pilot responsible for discharging the bomb in Hiroshima Japan during World War 2. The play is written by Eissa Gamal el-Din and stars Sherif Sobhy, Samya Atef, Moataz al-Sowaify, Mahmoud al-Zayat and others.

Carthage Theatrical Days or Journées Théâtrales de Carthage is a theater festival hosted by the government of Tunisia that started in 1983. Taking place every two years, this theater festival alternates with the Carthage Film Festival.
