“Happened in the land of happiness” cast and scenes - Egypt Today

CAIRO - 28 October 2018: Some theater and art critics in Egypt decided to teach the play “Happened in the Land of Happiness” for director Mazen el-Gharabawy and writer Walid Youssef and instructed their students to watch it in preparation for their exam.

The director commented that several local universities in different provinces across the country decided to take this initiative. Dr. Aida Allam decided to teach the play to her students in the Faculty of Theater Sciences at Helwan University; also, Dr. Sayed Ali decided to teach the play in the Faculty of Mass Communication at Helwan University.

Gharabawy also revealed that all the professors teaching in different local art faculties in Egypt praised the play, such as Nermine Farouk and Marwa Oudeh, both professors in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mansoura University. Furthermore, the director also mentioned that Dr. Ayman al-Shiwi decided to teach the play to his students in the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

The play will also be taught by Dr. Mohamed Refaat, a professor at Cairo University, along with Dr. Samia Habib, a professor in the Higher Institute of Technical Criticism.The play “Happened in the Land of Happiness” is a mixture of rich content, entertainment and visual effects. The play promotes determination, hard-work and hope, as they are the key elements of happiness, as stated in the lyrics of the song that concludes the play.
