CAIRO – 3 October 2018: EgyptAir becomes the official carrier of Disney live shows held in Egypt after a five-year hiatus.

EgyptAir provided the shows' performers with all the travel facilities, and promoted the shows among the passengers, screening a film about the live shows on its aircrafts.
Disney live shows returned to Egypt with 23 shows, which are performed in Cairo International Stadium, starting from Sept. 26, 2018.

Disney Corporation performed live shows in over 75 countries, and was hosted by over 400 cities around the globe.

The return of Disney live shows, held under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Tourism, reflects the political stability and security in Egypt, and defies all claims that state otherwise.

This comes within the framework of the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Tourism to create a new entertainment agenda for Egypt in the upcoming period. The ministry will be ready to release the new entertainment agenda for 2019 soon.

On August 28, a press conference was held by Minister of Tourism Rania al-Mashat under the auspices of the ministries of tourism, investment and international cooperation.

The guests, including the regional vice president for Feld Entertainment in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (producer of Disney world shows) Stephen Armstrong and Chairman and CEO of the Organizing Company in Egypt Mohammed Amer, were welcomed by Mashat.

Bringing Disney to Egypt highlights the Egyptians' openness to different cultures and paves the way for further partnership and cooperation between Egypt and countries of the world, said Mashat.
