CAIRO - 1 October 2018: The Sultanate of Oman will celebrate the Omani Women Day on Oct. 17, as the country prepares for its celebrations of Oman's 48th National Day on Nov. 18.

The Omani Opera House in co-operation with Egyptian Harp musician Manal Mohei el-Din will celebrate the Omani women cultural and artistic achievements in a special event, where Mohei el-Din’s orchestra, Anamel Sharkeya, will perform in a blissful night.
The Chamber Music Ensemble in the Royal Symphony Orchestra of Oman along with the National Omani Guardesses will also perform during the celebration.

Omani press welcomed the Egyptian participation in the Omani celebrations. In numerous prints and Omani journals, a section was specialized for the Egyptian harp player and musician Mohei el-Din, as one of the best harp players in the world.

Mohie el-Din is one of the top 10 harp players all over the world. She's the first Egyptian to play this special musical instrument. She performed in El-Sawy culture wheel, Cairo Opera house and Qubit el-Ghory and all her performances achieved booming success.
Mohie el-Din also performed with musician Fathy Salama, who is famous for combining jazz music with oriental music; she currently plays with the famed Egyptian musician/composer Omar khairat.

Mohei el-Din was a member of the Nile Girls band, and she currently has her own band which consists of seven musicians. She rearranged some of late Reyad el-Sonbaty and late legendary Mohamed Abdel Wahab’s musical works in a way that suits the unique nature of the harp.
