CAIRO – 28 September 2018: After a hiatus of five years, Disney live shows will return to Egypt with 23 shows to be performed in Cairo International Stadium, starting Oct. 6, 2018.

Disney Corporation has performed live shows in over 75 countries, and was hosted by over 400 cities around the globe.

Disney live shows will be held under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Tourism, which reflects the political stability and security in Egypt, and defies all claims that state otherwise.

Disney’s visit to Egypt also reflects the big trust in the Egyptian people and government, as Egyptians are active, open minded and greatly open to other cultures and new experiences.

Minister of Tourism Rania al-Mashat clarified that such an initiative, officially sponsored by the government, gives a positive political impression about Egypt on the international level. The minister looks forward to boosting cooperation with Disney Corporation in the future, stressing that such initiatives enrich Egypt on the touristic and cultural levels.

This comes within the framework of the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Tourism to create a new entertainment agenda for Egypt in the upcoming period. The ministry will be ready to release the new entertainment agenda for 2019 soon.
