Abdel Dayem expressed her pleasure with hosting the 11th edition of the Arab Theatre Festival, stressing that theater is an important method to foster awareness, consolidate the national identity, and encourage the community to be committed to cherished values.

She added that holding this edition embodies the strategy adopted by Arab ministers of culture during their meetings in Riyadh and Tunisia in 2015 and 2016 to develop the theatrical scene.

She further remarked that the inauguration ceremony will include the best shows in the Arab world, which achieved great succeed in 2018, to compete for the award of Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, along with the speech, set to be delivered by a prominent figure in the theatrical scene.
