CAIRO - 30 August 2018: Chairman of Cairo Opera House Magdy Saber will launch on Saturday the 2018-2019 season via organizing a rich artistic and cultural program.

The launch of the program coincides with the 30th anniversary of the opening of the new Cairo Opera House, the first of its kind in the Middle East and the Arab world.

In a statement on Thursday, Cairo Opera House said that the concerts are set to be performed throughout the season that will be opened in September until June 2019.

During the new season, the opera in cooperation with several embassies and cultural centers will host a number of the most famous bands, musicians and singers from 20 Arab and foreign countries including Syria, Korea, Hungary, Czech , Spain, Russia, Italy, Chili, China, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, Morocco, US, Kuwait, France, Georgia, Finland, Austria and Japan.

This season will also include a number of new productions that are set to be performed for the first time.

Several concerts will be presented by Cairo Opera House to mark the various national and religious occasions.

The opera will also hold the 27th edition of the Arab Music Festival that will group a bunch of prominent singers from Egypt and the Arab world.
