CAIRO – 8 August 2018: Due to the great success achieved by actress Nashwa Mustafa in her theatrical play “Selfie Ma’a el-Mot” (Death Selfie) performed on Miami Theatre, the play was extended for 10 additional days, starting August 10.

The play is performed and written by Nashwa Mustafa and directed by Mohamed Allam. Advanced technical equipment was used on stage which added more bliss to the performance.

The actress returned to the theatrical scene after a long hiatus. The play mainly revolves around one main idea; the only solid truth in life is death.

The play is a melodrama and depends on one solo actor. The duration of the play is 55 minutes only, but the short duration does not affect the quality of the content.

According to the star, the play’s name was changed from "Selfie Ma’a Sayedna" (Selfie with our Sheikh) to “Selfie Ma’a el-Mot” (Death Selfie) because of the Media Control Department obligations.

According to Mustafa, the play holds a philosophical approach towards how individuals deal with the idea of death.

Mustafa stated that the success she achieved exceeded all her friend’s expectations, which made her more proud of the efforts she exerted to gain such flattering comments from family members and friends.

Mustafa was born in October 1968 and has two children. She got married to her spouse, Mohamed Emad, in 1993.
