EL TUR – 6 August 2018: The Red Sea resort city of Sharm el Sheikh is gearing up for the World Art Youth Forum due to take place on October 25 through 31 with the participation of 1000 youths from 50 countries.

Famous world artists were invited to attend the event due to be held under the auspices of South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda.

In statements on Monday, Ostraka Arts founder and organizer of the event Mohamed Hemeida said the forum will include workshops on graphics, photography, sculpture, music, cinema, short films, etc.

He noted that the foundation - licensed by the General Authority For Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) - invests in the culture and arts which are the soft power in order to send a message to the whole world that Egypt is safe.

The success of the event will promote Egyptian tourism and culture and underline peace and security in the country, he said.

He added that Lebanese violinist Hanin will participate in the opening ceremony to promote tourism in Egypt.
