CAIRO – 23 June 2018: The Tunisian metal band, Myrath, makes a comeback after more than a year of absence. The band held its first concert after the absence in the capital city Tunis on Thursday.

With a musical career that lasted for over six years and which resulted in releasing four albums and more than 400 concerts around the world. Myrath is one of the most prominent experiences of Tunisian metal music, whose name was engraved with golden letters in the music genre. The band is considered to be one of the most famous Arabic bands in the Western world.

In 2005, the band was called X-Tazy, and it independently released “Double Face” a self-produced fan EP. The band is influenced by their Tunisian culture and North African heritage. They show this by including Tunisian and Arabic dialect in the chorus of their songs. They released five albums so far in their music career.

The members of the band are Malek Ben Arbia, Elyes Bouchoucha, Morgan Berthet, Anis Jouini, Zaher Zorgati.
