6 mummies to be exhibited at Hong Kong Science Museum

CAIRO – 17 May 2017: Six Egyptian mummies will be displayed in Hong Kong along with 200 ancient Egyptian relics from June 2 to October 18, 2017, local People's Daily Chinese newspaper reported Tuesday.



The event will be organized under the theme of “Eternal Life: Exploring Ancient Egypt” and the six mummies aged between 1,800 and 3,000 years old.

With the help of modern technology, the exhibition is offering the public an opportunity to learn about life in ancient Egypt.



The Hong Kong Science Museum is organizing this event as part of the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the return of Hong Kong to China.
